Cooperative Extension to be honored by Assembly, Senate

We’re looking for clientele, friends, volunteers, 4-H members and colleagues to join us in celebration of our centennial as Rep. Joan Ballweg of Assembly District 41 will ask for unanimous consent for all Assembly authors to be sponsors of our resolution.

You will be recognized as Cooperative Extension supporters in the gallery after hearing remarks from UW-Extension Chancellor Ray Cross and Cooperative Extension Dean and Director Richard Klemme.

In the Senate, Sen. Fitzgerald will introduce a resolution and will ask the other Senators to be sponsors of the resolution.

Cooperative Extension staff will be available in the Rotunda before 11:00 to direct supporters to the correct rooms. Cameras and signs are not allowed in the Assembly gallery.

After this historic event, we will celebrate with goodwill and cake!

What a great opportunity! For those unable to attend, Wisconsin Eye will be covering it live.
